quantum physics. His father gave him the middle name from his godfather Ernst Mach.
He was awarded the Nobel Prize for his contributions to physics and was nominated by Albert Einstien. He found a new law of nature the exclusion principle or Pauli principle. He graduated with distinction from Döblinger-Gymnasium. He published his first paper on Albert Einstien on his theory of relativity. He got a PhD from the university of Ludwig maximilians. [1]

Pauli was born in Vienna, Austria April 25, 1900. His godfather and mentor was Ernst Mach a physicist. He said that Machs influence in his youth was an “anti-metaphysical baptism.” Having been so smart at math Pauli taught himself the Theory of Relativity. He wrote his first paper at eightteen on the Theory of Relativity. At the university of Munich he studied the most advanced physics in his day. He studied with other physicist like Niels Bohr and Max Born. He was very respected among other physicist for his thoughtful insight on the upcoming quantum theory. Pauli created the Pauli exclusion principle. He said that an electron can only spin in two ways and no more than two electrons per quantum orbit. Another huge insight of Pauli's was finding and solving the problem in beta decay a type of radioactivity.
Pauli became mentally unstable after his mothers suicide and the divorce with his wife. So when he arrived in Zurich he checked himself in to a clinic for a therapist who was Carl Jung. Carl Jung was a great inspiration to Pauli with whom he worked for some twenty five years on the science of human phsycology.
Major Contributions
Pauli made major contributions mainly in the fied of quantum mechanics. He very rarely published papers but put most of his ideas and results in to letters. Pauli discovered a new quantum number having to possible answers. The Pauli exclusion principle is the most important discovery which says that no two elctrons can exist in the same quantum state, identified by four quantum numbers including his new two valued degree of freedom. pauli was also known for his string theory. string theory combines both quantum physics and general relativity into a quantum theory of gravity. the string theory is a possible basic substance of the universe. the strings are said to vibrate very quickly and depending on the sustance or type of matter they all run on different frequencies.the string theory is not complete yet because when still dont know what the basic substance of the universe is yet. it has passed many mathmatical test. the string theory is an attempt to explain or understand what everything is made of.

Affect and Effect
Pauli's life was affected in many different ways by many different people. one of those people was his mother, he was very attached to her. when she comited suicide he was very torn and lonley. when his father got remarried less than a year later . the marriage lasted less than a year. when they got a divorce pauli had a nervous breakdown and turned to drinking. then he decided to go see a psychiatrist and psycho therapist named Carl Jung. carl jung later became one of paulis partners and they researched and experimented together. they worked together for more than twenty years. his father joseph pauli was a biochemist and a professor at the university of vienna. when he went to the university of munich he was under sommerfeld and there he was granted the best opprotuntiy for a stimulating invironment.
